Product description:
The MTX RTX84 is a 20 cm (8”) high-efficiency midrange driver designed for SQL installations and open-door PA systems. With an efficiency of nearly 98 dB, it delivers powerful and highly dynamic sound with low power consumption. It excels at reproducing incredibly precise, detailed, and musical live sound, while remaining fluid and never harsh.
Its extra-large 51 mm voice coil, its ogive to combat standing waves, its super-large Ø134 mm strontium magnet, as well as its pressed paper membrane and pleated fabric suspension, are major assets that guarantee optimal sound performance. The MTX RTX84 is designed to offer a very detailed midrange and excellent bass response.
Please note that the RTX84 is sold individually. Two are required for a stereo setup, and it is recommended to supplement the treble with two MTX RTX2BTs or RTX4BTs tweeters.
